2008 has been a busy year for me. It all started while I was still in mama's tummy. We rang in the new year in Sanibel at Tita Joy and Uncle Jaret's wedding. Fun times. Mama danced and danced and danced - making me even more excited to enter the world.

Mama and dad welcomed me into the world on March 11, 2008.
Lola spent my entire first month with mama, dad, and me in Alabama. Her sisters from California joined her soon after.
April was a busy month. Lola went back home to Florida. Tita Missy and Tita Nikki came to see me for the first time, and dad had to leave us for a few days for a business meeting. As for me, I was staying awake more during the day and enjoyed looking at the things around me.
In May, Mama celebrated her first Mother's Day. On the very same day, I turned 2 months old. Mama bought me this mirror in June when I discovered my reflection. Dad also celebrated his first Father's Day.
I took my very first airplane ride in July. We travelled to Florida to visit mama's family. I met Lolo and Great-Lola for the first time, and was baptized into the Catholic Church. Lots of other firsts happened - like my first dip in a swimming pool.
I met my friend, Hunter, for the first time in August when we took my first road trip to Nashville, where mama had a meeting. Also in August, I started to sit up without anyone's help and enjoyed watching the 2008 Summer Olympics. And to dad's delight, I said my first word. Dada.
I celebrated my half birthday in September. This was also the beginning of the college football season. This is when I learned that I was going to have to like football.
October was an exciting month. I got my first 4 teeth and started crawling. I also got to go trick or treating with my friend Claire.
November came, and the weather got cooler. I voted in the Presidential Election with mama and dad. I went to my very first bonfire in Hartselle. I started pulling up to stand and cruising. And my friend, Ian, entered the world. .jpg)
I celebrated my very first Christmas in Florida. We took a long road trip to visit mama's family again. It was fun ripping up the wrapping paper. Also this month, I got 2 more teeth, which brings my total number of teeth to 6. All in all, 2008 was a fun and exciting year. I hope 2009 is just as exciting. It should be... mama's Florida Gators should become National Champions again next week. Happy New Year!
