bumbo fun

Mom and dad decided to buy me a bumbo seat and see how well I would do with it since I have been holding my head up really well for about a month now. I think I'm doing pretty good, don't you?

happy memorial day!

I hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend. I was pretty busy. Yesterday, we went to Matt and Kristina's house for a BBQ. Dad and the rest of the guys were throwing a football around and playing with the dogs outside. He even caught a football while holding me in his arms! I finally got to meet Dad's friend, Eric. They went to school together and graduated with their electrical engineering degrees at the same time. Here I am telling them about how hard my life is. They just don't understand...

Also, over the weekend, I had a lot of fun looking at myself in the mirror. I still can't figure out how a mirror works. I mean, I see a baby in the mirror and see someone who looks like mom and dad. But how can it be them if they are holding me. I like to watch the baby in the mirror drool all over himself and laugh.

Finally, you can help support the Global Fund, which helps women and children affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa, by buying (RED) products like my shirt here. It's a good cause.

bathtime...

I am starting to enjoy bathtime. Mom noticed that I started putting my hands and feet in the water when she would bathe me so she got rid of the sling. Although I'm not doing it in this picture, I also like to stare at my big buddha belly in the mirror. The only thing I don't like about bathtime now is getting out of the nice, warm water. But mom says that I have to get out at some point.

alfalfa?

Dad likes to call me "alfalfa" sometimes, referring to the character in "the Little Rascals." My hair starts to stick up all the time regardless of how many times my mom combs it.

double celebration!

Yesterday was not only Mother's Day, but I also turned TWO months old. It seems like my life is going by so fast. Mom spent the day getting some much needed rest.

Mom bought her own Mother's Day present and put it on Dad's credit card. I think she also wants a new digital camera, but she doesn't know what kind yet.

On another note, mom and dad have been washing my hair with Selsun Blue because I have "a touch of cradle cap." That is what the doctor called it and he is the one that suggested they wash my hair with that stinky stuff. Oh well. I guess it is helping.

my girlfriend

This is my girlfriend, Ava. She was born on Cinco de Mayo. My mom has known her dad since he was a baby. She's cute, don't you think?

there's a party in my tummy

This is my favorite thing to watch right now. Yo! Gabba Gabba. Tita Nikki introduced it to me when she was visiting. It is very catchy so mom had to find it on YouTube so I can watch it over and over and over again.

This is how I spent most of the day today. Dad says that I look so pitiful in this picture - it makes you feel bad for me. You should. I had my two-month visit with my doctor. Mom said she was dreading this day and now I know why - I got three shots, as well as an oral one. Miss Cathy gave me the oral one first and it wasn't bad at all. It sort of had a fruity flavor to it. But then, she gave me three shots in my legs. And those hurt! I cried and cried until tears came out of my eyes. Mom said Miss Kathy felt bad about having to do that, especially since mom is friends with Miss Kathy's daughter. Dr. Klemm told us that I might be sore for awhile so he gave mom and dad Tylenol to give to me. I cannot tell if it's helping. The other news is that I keep growing. I now weigh 13 pounds and am 23-3/4 inches long.

no more help

The last of mom and dad's help left today. Tita Missy left last week because she had to go back to work and Tita Nikki left this afternoon to go back to Ft. Myers. I had a lot of fun with them. Here are pictures from their visit here.

Mom said we are going to Florida for Lolo's birthday. Maybe after that trip I will be as tan as Tita Nikki.

i'm a fan...

... of the Beatles. Who isn't? Actually, Lolo loves the Beatles. Whenever mommy, Tita Missy and Tita Nikki hear the Beatles, they think of Lolo. So when we saw this shirt at the Lucky store near our house, Tita Nikki said she had to buy it for me.

one month

I am officially one month old today. Mom says that my first month in this world has gone by quickly and that I have already grown a lot. My Lola from Florida was able to visit and help my mom for the first month of my life, and boy, was mom ever so grateful. Here's my first month in pictures....
